The long-term master plan for the Gray Center includes new construction and the renovation of existing facilities.

Phase 1

A. Pool — A zero-entry swimming pool will make access easier and safer for younger children, older adults, and campers with special

B. Dining Hall — The renovated, fully air-conditioned dining hall and kitchen will give campers another reason to raise their voices in the Johnny Appleseed blessing.

C/D. Camper Villages — New, air-conditioned cabins will be grouped into villages located near the dining hall and activity areas, improving flow throughout the property.

Future Enhancements included in the Master Plan

E. Pavilion — The new pavilion will offer a shaded, covered area for games, gatherings, and events.

F. Arts and Crafts Center/Recreation Hall — Campers will participate in crafts, games, and other activities in this new facility. A covered outdoor activity space will allow campers to enjoy the outdoors regardless of the weather.

G. Infirmary — A new infirmary will offer wellness services and first aid for the bumps, bruises, and scraped knees that serve as Bratton-Green badges of honor.

H. Leadership Housing — New housing will offer camp directors a place to unwind and relax at the end of a fulfilling day.

I. Expanded Parking — More guests and staff mean more need for convenient parking.

Features Already in Place

J. Farm — Campers and school groups learn about self-sufficiency and sustainability on the fully functional farm.

K. Recreation Field — A green space will be set aside for organized team sports or impromptu games of soccer, counting bluebirds, or simply relaxing in the sunshine.
